Nonesuch Families,
While this is not for community credit, this could be a great chance
for some students and parents to help out Zone Music. They have been great to us and have advertised our benefits. I hope some of you are interested in
working on this event.

hey everyone --
This is a personal note from me, Frank, to you long time Zone Music customers and friends --
in a word: HELP!

We love doing events -- but this time we're in over our heads. We decided to celebrate the 20th
Anniversary of the Steve Vai Ibanez JEM electric guitar, by having a big party on Saturday May 19.
We invited the top guys from Ibanez, including the design team from Japan, and of course STEVE VAI -- and guess what?
They all said YES, WE'LL BE THERE!
Now it looks like there could be 1500 to 2000 people visiting Zone that day. I need a team of 20 "volunteers" to help us manage the registration booth
at the entrance, to help with autograph line maintenance and other basic set-up, event operation, and tear-down chores.
It's a party, not a performance by Steve Vai. But there will be live music -- and who knows. He's an amazing guitarist, he played with Zappa,
Whitesnake, David Lee Roth, and was the devil guitarist in that unforgettable dueling scene from the movie Crossroads.
The event is officially 11 AM to 4 PM -- with two 4 hour shifts -- essentially:
Shift 1 - 9:30 to 1:30
Shift 2 - 1:00 to 4:00
We also need some help Friday afternoon for set-up, and Saturday afternoon late (4:30 to 6:30) for tear down.
We need to know very soon, and we need to have volunteers that we can absolutely count on.
Thanks -- if you'd like to help out, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Bree Lingle at <bigbywriter@hotmail.com > right away.
We'll get back to you, and coordinate "job" activities. We'll buy you lunch! I'll personally thank you for a long, long time!
I don't think a music store has ever done anything like this, ever! It should a blast.
Thank you!
Frank Hayhurst
